The Place for Children with Autism – Bronzeville

The Place for Children with Autism offers individualized autism therapy for Bronzeville residents. Certified and trained speech-language pathologists (SLPs) provide specialized speech therapy with care and play-based learning to create a concrete foundation for growth. Their speech therapy programs focus on developing various communication skills, including articulation, feeding, pragmatics, swallowing, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), and augmentative and alternative communication. We model a structured, school-like setting where we support autistic children in developing social skills, safety, communication, and independence. Each of our SLPs is ASHA-certified and is licensed by the State of Illinois to offer care, adhering to the ethics.
